Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior/Intermediate Finance/Mortgage Broker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing expert financial advice, and facilitating mortgage solutions. This role presents an exciting opportunity for professional growth and development within the finance industry.

Interactions:

Internally, the employee will collaborate closely with colleagues in the accounting department and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operations. Externally, the employee will engage with clients to understand their financial needs, provide tailored advice, and liaise with lending institutions to secure optimal mortgage solutions.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking;
  • Experience working with Broker Engine, AFG Flex and AOL;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet finance submission deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in client acquisition and business development; and
  • Additional certifications in finance or related fields.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships through effective communication and service delivery;
  • Conducting thorough financial assessments to understand client needs and goals;
  • Providing expert advice on financial products and structuring tailored solutions; and
  • Liaising with lending institutions to negotiate terms and secure financing options.

Accountabilities and KPIs:

  • Meeting or exceeding client acquisition targets (KPI: Client acquisition rate);
  • Achieving high levels of client satisfaction and retention (KPI: Client feedback score); and
  • Timely and accurate processing of finance applications (KPI: Application turnaround time).
